concerned community members to write the North Vancouver School District
and Board with your concerns regarding covered areas and your recommendations
as the North Vancouver School District. We also
encourage you to write the Ministry of Education and our North Vancouver
MLAs as well. Since all BC schools fall under the BC Ministry of
Education umbrella, we feel that their influence and support can also help.

I wish to inform you of my support for the inclusion and funding (within school district capital budgets) of covered play areas for all schools in the North Vancouver School District. I believe that Covered Play Areas are essential in our rainforest climate.
I ask you to consider offering your influence and support to encourage the North Vancouver School Board/District to 1. Commit to including covered areas in future builds and 2. To commit to reinstating covered areas in the schools that had their omitted or dismantled.
